VAI
Vakav's industrial AI platform
VAI is installed on a server inside the plant, connects directly to the control system and data sources, and turns AI models into services that operators use every day. Results appear on the control-room display and, if the operator approves, are written back to the DCS.
Every model, a live workflow
Data arrives from the DCS and Historian, is cleaned and synchronised, reaches the prediction model, and returns to the control room as recommended settings and quality alarms. Scripts, workflows, schedules and apps, all in one environment.
Capabilities
Direct connection to plant data
Online data from the DCS, databases, files and IoT devices. Offline, it reads Historian exports or decodes the DCS archive.
Three levels: predict, recommend, optimize
Custom AI services are built in three levels, each on top of the data and models of the one before.
Scripts, workflows, schedules, apps
A Python scripting environment, a drag-and-drop workflow editor, schedules and event triggers, and an app builder that generates a user interface from a script's parameters.
Next to the operator
Predictions, recommended setpoints, reports and analyses are shown on the control-room display and stored in a database.
Entirely inside your organization
Runs on the plant server with no dependency on the internet or outside services, with organizational roles and access levels.
Modular
AI bots, integration with MES and digital twins, and pluggable modules for each unit.
Two ways to work with data
- 01
Offline
Excel exports from the Historian, or a decoded DCS archive, for analysis and model building on historical data.
- 02
Online
A direct connection from the VAI server to the DCS server: models run on live data, results are displayed and, if the operator chooses, written back to the DCS.
Let's start with a pilot in your plant
Pick one concrete problem in your process. We'll show, in your own environment, what value industrial AI creates.
