Master the process of adding knowledge. Upload files, connect to websites, and manage the data sources for your AI.
1. Introduction
A key strength of VAKAV Autonomous is its ability to learn from your documents. The Document Management panel is where you add, view, and organize the knowledge sources for each workspace. By providing relevant documents, you empower your AI assistant to give accurate, context-aware answers based on your organization's own data.
2. Accessing the Feature
To access the document management panel, hover over your active workspace in the left panel and click the upload icon.

3. Main Interface Elements
The document management window is split into two main sections:
Workspace Documents: The panel on the right, labeled with your current workspace's name, shows a list of all documents currently active in this specific workspace. The AI will use these files as its primary knowledge base.
My Documents: The panel on the left displays your central library of all documents you have uploaded to your account, available across all workspaces.
Upload Area: The section at the bottom left for adding new knowledge sources. You can either drag-and-drop files or click to open the file browser.

4. Key Actions
Action 1: Upload a New Document
Step 1: In the upload area, either drag and drop a file from your computer or click inside the box.
Step 2: If you click, a file browser window will open. Navigate to your desired file (e.g., PDF, Word), select it, and click "Open".
Step 3: The file will be uploaded and will appear in your "My Documents" list on the left.
Action 2: Add an Existing Document to a Workspace
Step 1: Find the document you want to add in the "My Documents" list on the left. You can use the search bar to find it quickly.
Step 2: Click the transfer icon (⇄) next to the file name. The document will now appear in the workspace panel on the right.
Action 3: Add a Web Page as a Source
Step 1: Copy the full URL of the web page you want to use.
Step 2: Paste the URL into the input field and click the "Fetch website" button.
Step 3: The system will process the content from the URL and make it available as a knowledge source.
5. Tips & Notes
Supported Formats: You can upload various file types, including text files, PDFs, and Word documents.
Centralized Management: Remember that the "My Documents" section is your central library. A single uploaded document can be added to multiple workspaces without needing to upload it again.
